Biographie
Simon Pegg (de son vrai nom Simon Beckingham) est un acteur britannique, il est aussi humoriste, scénariste, producteur, chanteur et réalisateur né le 14 février 1970 à Brockworth (Angleterre). Il a été révélé par ses collaborations avec le cinéaste Edgar Wright et l'acteur Nick Frost, d'abord la série Les Allumés, puis les films Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz et Le Dernier Pub avant la fin du monde pour lesquels il est à la fois acteur principal et coscénariste. Il a également coécrit et interprété le film Paul avec Nick Frost. Il confirme à Hollywood, en devenant un collaborateur régulier du réalisateur J. J. Abrams, qui lui confie en 2006 le rôle récurrent de Benji Dunn, dans la saga Mission impossible, puis, en 2009, celui de Scotty dans la saga reboot Star Trek. En 2015, il est, aux côtés des membres des Monty Python, la vedette d'Absolutely Anything, dernier film de Terry Jones.
