Biographie
Pamela Suzette "Pam" Grier (née le 26 mai 1949) est une actrice américaine. Elle est devenue célèbre au début des années 1970, après avoir joué dans une série de films sur les femmes en prison et de la blaxploitation, comme Foxy Brown en 1974. Sa carrière a été relancée en 1997 après son apparition dans le film Jackie Brown de Quentin Tarantino. Elle a reçu une nomination au Golden Globe de la meilleure actrice. Elle a également été nominée pour un SAG ainsi qu'un Satellite Award pour sa performance dans le film iconique Jackie Brown. Elle a reçu une nomination aux Emmy Awards pour son travail dans un programme d'animation intitulé Happily Ever After : Contes de fées pour chaque enfant. Rotten Tomatoes l'a classée comme la deuxième meilleure héroïne féminine d'action de l'histoire du cinéma. Le réalisateur Quentin Tarantino a fait remarquer qu'elle pourrait bien avoir été la première femme d'action du cinéma.
