Guy Edward Pearce, né le 5 octobre 1967 à Ely, Cambridgeshire en Angleterre, est un acteur et musicien australien d'origine britannique. À l'âge de trois ans, sa famille déménage à Geelong en Australie, où il grandit. Dès son plus jeune âge, Pearce montre un intérêt pour le jeu d'acteur, participant à des spectacles amateurs comme "Alice au pays des merveilles" et "Le magicien d'Oz". Il débute sa carrière professionnelle à 18 ans dans la série télévisée australienne "Les voisins" en 1986. Sa percée internationale survient en 1994 avec le film "Priscilla, folle du désert", où il incarne une drag queen. Ce rôle lui ouvre les portes d'Hollywood, et il enchaîne ensuite avec des performances remarquées dans des films tels que "L.A. confidential" (1997), "Memento" (2000), et "La machine à explorer le temps" (2002). Il a joué dans des films comme "The proposition" (2005), "The hurt locker" (2009), "Le discours d'un roi" (2010), et "Iron man 3" (2013). À la télévision, il s'est illustré dans la série "Mildred Pierce" (2011), qui lui a valu un Emmy Award, et plus récemment dans "Mare of Easttown".
