Biographie
Dame Olivia Newton-John AC, DBE (26 septembre 1948 - 8 août 2022) était une chanteuse et actrice d'origine anglaise et élevée en Australie. Elle a été quatre fois lauréate d'un Grammy Award et a amassé cinq singles n ° 1 et dix autres singles du Top Ten Billboard Hot 100 et deux albums solo n ° 1 du Billboard 200. Onze de ses singles (dont deux platines) et 14 de ses albums (dont deux platines et quatre doubles platines) ont été certifiés or par la RIAA. Sa musique a connu du succès dans de multiples formats, notamment la pop, la country et la musique contemporaine pour adultes, et a vendu environ 100 millions d'albums dans le monde. Elle a partagé la vedette avec John Travolta dans l'adaptation cinématographique de la comédie musicale de Broadway, Grease, qui est devenue l'un des films et des bandes originales de films les plus réussis de l'histoire d'Hollywood. Newton-John est un militant de longue date pour les questions environnementales et de droits des animaux.
